I'm Denis Vacaru, a professional Android developer with 7+ years of experience, based in Neamț, Romania. Since August 2021 I've worked as a freelance Android developer through ADV IT Solutions, building and maintaining native Android apps for clients — including fintech apps for banks like BRD (Groupe Société Générale) and Cembra, and the mobile and Android TV apps for DAZN.

Alongside contract work, I run my own small portfolio of apps — Solfeggio, Inward, and Gloam — which I own end to end: product, engineering, ASO, and growth. I also work as Bookly's solo Android contractor, where I took the app from a struggling 3.6★ to a steady 4.4★ by refactoring its architecture and introducing CI/CD — and grew its Android revenue roughly 500% along the way.

Earlier in my career I worked at IT Smart Systems as an Android Technical Specialist on fintech apps for banks across Europe, and started out at IntelligentBee on a social media app. Day to day I operate as ADV IT SOLUTIONS S.R.L.
